😻Archie needs your help!😻We answered a cal 😻Archie needs your help!😻We answered a call from Clayton County Animal Control over the holiday weekend and drove over to pick up an injured, eight-week-old kitten. It was determined that Archie has a broken left femur and can't put any weight on it.We don't know if his leg can be saved, but Archie needs surgery ASAP. His medical costs will be significant. Please consider making a donation to help Archie.Whether he'll walk on all fours again or not, your donation will help Archie get the medical care he needs to heal and eventually find a loving, forever home. You can donate through our bio links or swipe left for Venmo QR code.Thank you!#fcpga #spayandneuter #seesomethingdosomething

Luke's favorite thing in the whole world is to pla Luke's favorite thing in the whole world is to play. He's an energetic 12-week-old kitten with a fun personality. Luke entertains his foster family for hours on end zooming around the house. He'll play with anything he can get his paws on, but he also loves to cuddle. Luke will let you carry him around like a baby and even scratch his tummy!Luke is gentle with kids and other cats. He's never met a dog, but Luke's so confident and friendly, that they'd probably become instant friends. He's vaccinated, neutered, combo (-), microchipped, and packed and ready to go to his forever home. Don’t forget about your kitty cats this weekend. Don’t forget about your kitty cats this weekend. Here are some tips on minimizing stress for your cats during fireworks, courtesy of Best Friends Animal Society.🇺🇸🧨🧨🇺🇸Just like dogs, cats get stressed from fireworks, too! So don’t wait to see how your cat responds to fireworks. 🎆 Make a plan and be prepared.✨ These are our top tips to keep your cat safe and happy this 4th of July! ✨1.) Keep ID tags updated: Check to see that your cat's collar fits properly and ID tags are securely attached. Check contact information on ID tags to make sure it's current.2.) Microchip your cat: Check that your contact info is up-to-date if your cat is already microchipped. If your cat gets spooked and escapes outside, this may be what brings them back to you.3.) Keep your cat indoors: Shut and lock doors and windows during fireworks to keep them safely inside your home.4.) Close your curtains: Close windows and curtains in your home to muffle the sounds and block bright lights.5.) Add background noise: Turn on the TV or some calming music a little louder than usual. But don't turn it to full blast — if it's too loud, it could cause more stress.6.) Let your cat act naturally: If your cat is nervous, they may pace and meow more than usual. They might find a space to hide — like under the bed. Let them do what comes naturally. Don't try to coax them out or change their behavior. It's their way of coping. What tips do you have?! Tell us in the comments your best tips for a calm cat during fireworks! 👇👇👇 -heather
